Wednesday Gaming – Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Rainbow Six Siege and MORE!

– Another teaser trailer for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” has dropped, and it features snippets of live-action footage from the ‘90s, including clips of US presidents Bill Clinton and George Bush Sr., as well as Iraqi president Saddam Hussein. All in all, it suggests that the upcoming game will take place during the Gulf War.

– Lavapotion, the developers behind “Songs of Conquest”, has confirmed that the strategy game will receive an expansion pack titled “Bleak East” in the summer of 2025. Not only will this add two new factions called the Vanir and the Roots, but it will also introduce “a large single-player campaign that will tell the story of how they came to be and how they will affect the larger world of Aerbor.”

– What’s more, there are plans to release four DLC packs for “Songs of Conquest” every quarter until “Bleak East” drops. The first DLC pack, titled “Rise Eternal”, will be released later this year.

– Ubisoft is launching a subscription service for “Rainbow Six Siege”. For $10 a month, players who sign up for the R6 Membership will receive an “exclusive drop of content every month, including a time-limited Legendary item (sometimes animated for extra flair), an Epic operator bundle, full access to the premium Battle Pass, 10x Battle levels, and a Bravo pack totalling over 4500 credits of value monthly.” Enrollments take place from 11 June to 18 June 2024.

– Square Enix has released a small teaser video via Twitter/X for its upcoming “Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D” remake. The 20-second video shows what looks like an updated version of the “Dragon Quest” logo, along with the text, “The legacy begins.”

– Per the teaser, “Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D” will be released on all major gaming platforms including the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
